Slow Carb Diet Day 30: 19 pounds & 20 inches lost!

Hooray!  I made it 30 days on Tim Ferriss’ Slow Carb Diet!
The results?  19 pounds and 20 inches lost!

As you can see from the meals posted on the site, I’ve been following the diet pretty aggressively with just a few exceptions:

  • Dairy: severely limited, but not totally excluded yet.
  • Portions size: medium to small – they leave me a little hungry but not starving.
  • Exercise: some moderate treadmill sessions (would have done more but caught a cold).
  • Supplements: just a multivitamin and calcium supplement.
  • Cheat Days: after first week disaster have generally limited to 1-2 cheat meals per week.

The next 30 days

So, where to go from here?  Major cheat day today, then a cheat meal in New York on Thursday night, then back to the strict meal plan.  I’m planning to keep the small amount of dairy for now and gradually add more exercise.  We’ll see how it goes for the next 30 days!  Wish me luck!

Good luck! Sounds like you’ve got a great rhythm going! Tim is all about testing and trial and error (I even heard him tell someone they should test out fruit). Your trials look pretty good! :)
