12 Pounds Lost! Slow Carb Diet Results (Month 2)

Hooray – I lost another 12 pounds on the Slow Carb Diet!  And I won another DietBet challenge!  Also, I found out that I’m one of the finalists for the lunch with Tim Ferriss prize for the 4-Hour Body DietBet Challenge Part 2 DietBet.  Wow!

While nearly 12 pounds (11.8 to be exact) is not nearly as impressive as the 20 pound first month loss, I’m still pretty happy with the results.  I gained 5 pounds between the end of last month’s DietBet and the beginning of this one thanks to a few extra cheat days.  Here’s a before and after photo for month one and month two:


It’s been tough getting used to the new eating plan and cajoling my body to keep losing, but here’s another month accomplished.

236.4 pounds -> Starting weight February 25, 2013

224.1 pounds -> Ending weight March 24, 2013

11.8 pounds -> Loss this month :-)
